Somedays, you just have to have that spicy rice cake & soondae combo.
This was one of those days.  I devoured it fast as soon as I got them on the table.

I don't really prefer the chunky cuts of rice cake - but I really wanted it.

Insadong used to be just for the foreigners - but it had a big face lift this year and have been seeing an increase in foot traffic from the locals - couples & families especially.

Lots of cute art on the streets, much much cleaner and well put together too.

I appreciate all the effort the city puts into "upgrading" an area - like the subway (which adds a new line every year or two?!)..

Kudos to Seoul! That's why I love this city.  It's always trying to make it "better" :)

one my favorite Vietnamese munchies!


We found this Vietnamese restaurant around HaeBangChon (Noksaypyung area).  Was very pleased with the simple, yet fresh taste of this sandwich!

Trevia (pizza) - Noksapyung station (Itaewon area)

Even my Italian friend approves of this place!  yay~ for Trevia!
