Insadong streets at night
the streets get calmer by night.
Insadong used to be just for the foreigners - but it had a big face lift this year and have been seeing an increase in foot traffic from the locals - couples & families especially.
Lots of cute art on the streets, much much cleaner and well put together too.
I appreciate all the effort the city puts into "upgrading" an area - like the subway (which adds a new line every year or two?!)..
Kudos to Seoul! That's why I love this city. It's always trying to make it "better" :)

Insadong 2012 upgrade
Insadong finally got its facial lift! It's been long over due.
It was just this Fall that we finally came to conclusion on how Insadong is now worth visiting - to visitors and locals. I knew it could do it! :)

Gwanghwamoon at night
Walking to gwanhwamoon station coming from samcheongdong.
You'll be surprised how all the areas are actually quite close to each other. Insadong, Gwanghwamoon and Samcheongdong are only blocks away from each other. And very walkable. Enjoyable too, even more so when the weather is perfect.
