Cats in a cafe - Hongdae

We stumbled upon this interesting cafe while walking through Hapjeong station.  The area around the station is known for smaller cafes.  This was located on the second floor.  I don't know how it lured us in since it wasn't too eye catching or "cute looking" from the outside.  But we saw that the cafe logo was of a cat.  And we're suckers for cats ;)  So we decided to go for an adventure.  And it was!

 

There were a few kittens napping around and a bigger cat that strolled around the cafe.  We were the only ones there, so the cafe was quiet and so were the owners(staff) who were aloof and not upbeat.

The cat seemed more upbeat being there.  It came around our table to greet us.  The cat boss didn't "beg" for attention and stayed its distance.  A cat with an attitude ;)

The drinks we had were not the best.  The menu was very interesting.. it had both wine and coffee and the decor was of red velvet texture/sofas - not really our style for "cute cafes".  But at least we got some "cat swagger" from our time there.  We didn't stay too long.  A cafe definitely should be more upbeat and warm.  But having the cats made it all okay~;)
